Spring 2021 – Dance Institute DIPA Mini Sessions – May 27th
Session Details – 1 Hour with 4 Dancers
- Each session will be an hour long, shared by up to 4 dancers.
- During the hour, dancers will take take turns getting their photos taken in their various costumes. After a number of shots in their first costume, the dancer will go change into the next costume and change hair/makeup if deemed necessary. Meanwhile, the other dancers will continue taking photos. This is similar to how solo photos have been taken during non-COVID photo weeks.
- Full body posed/action shots will be offered during the shoot. No headshots.
- After the photoshoot, you will receive an online gallery via email where the selected high resolution images can be downloaded.
- Sibling photos are allowed.
- Quick buddy photos are allowed, though up to dancer’s/parent’s discretion for COVID safety.
- If not all four time slots for a given hour are filled, the overall time will be reduced proportionally for fairness.
Other Notes
- Time slots are offered every 15 minutes in the booking software. However, you are to arrive at the start of the hour of your time slot. This is due to the software not really supporting this workflow.
- The booking software will say your session is 15 minutes. It lies because it is dumb and can’t be configured for this use case. See the note above about arriving at the start of the hour for your given time slot.
- If you want to pair up with friend’s or dancers that might be able to help with posing or give advice, you will need to coordinate and sign up for the same hour slot independently. I cannot handle special requests due to the software (it turns me grey)
